Dr Abdulhakim Mohamed is a PhD in Islamic philosophy with masters in Islamic theology from Graduate Theological Foundation Indiana USA. Currently he is the President of Asia Humanitarian Aid and Director of Development of IMANA which is the largest network of American Muslim Health care professional. IMANA is committed to raising health awareness among underserved communities and providing them with medical aid to lead a healthy lifestyle. Taught Arabic courses for over 27 yrs to Muslims and Non-Muslims and lectured in many Universities and Churches and Conferences around the world He is past member of National Interfaith Alliance and of the National Covenant Association in the United States. He has over 28 years of experience as an Imam and public service. He was chosen as Ambassador of Peace by World Family Federation and Tennessee State University in 2005, He also served on the advisory committee for the Mayor of Nashville, TN from 2007-2011

Mayor Tecklenburg spent much of his career as a businessman and entrepreneur—a family legacy that began with the opening of his great-great-grandfather’s corner grocery store at St. Phillip and Wentworth streets in 1867. Mayor Tecklenburg founded Southern Oil Company in 1978, which he successfully owned and operated for nearly 20 years. Upon selling the business, he was appointed to serve as Director of Economic Development for the City of Charleston, where he helped lead the revitalization of Upper King Street. read more

Jennet Robinson Alterman is a native of Charleston and is currently involved in womens rights advocacy efforts across SC. She has worked in federal and state government as well as the private and nonprofit sectors.

She holds an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from the College of Charleston and volunteers for a variety of community organizations. She also serves as the Board Chair of the SC Women’s Rights and Empowerment Network, a statewide organization building a movement to protect and support the health, economic well being and rights of SC women, girls and their families.

James Alton Cannon, Jr., is the elected Sheriff of Charleston County. He was first elected Sheriff in February 1988. The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is the largest Sheriff's Office in the state of South Carolina, employing over 900 people. Sheriff Cannon is responsible for oversight of a budget of over $64 million.  Sheriff Cannon earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the College of Charleston, a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina, and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of South Carolina. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the United States Supreme Court Bar. In 2012, Sheriff Cannon celebrated his 30th Anniversary of admission to the South Carolina Bar.
